Two people killed and the third was on trial for murder. Why did so many people scream with joy when they found him innocent. Some would say that money can buy you freedom. Others would say the justice system finally worked for a black man. Many would say he was innocent. They also said that the evidence was circumstantial. His lawyers said that the jury came back with the only possible verdict.
People were upset were about the verdict. Many Black people know of someone doing time for something they didn’t do.
Blacks are often thought of as supermen and women. Often we hear people saying that’s ok I will do this or that for you. Thinking we’re incapable of making judgment calls. These beliefs are false and yes we are equal to everyone else.
