The day before I died, the people who loved me were there. I wanted to go peacefully and they made sure I did. they watched as I slipped slowly away, asking God to forgive me.
The Day Before I Died
As I looked down upon them watching as they stared at my still body, I tried to reach out and wipe away their tears: as I touched their souls to assure them that I was finally at peace and had already reached my destination.
The Day Before I Died
While lying there gasping for my last breathes you made sure that nothing was constricting my airway. Thank you for getting the nurses and their aids to help me through that difficult time.
The Day Before I Died
Now that I am gone don’t waste the precious time you have left here on earth missing me, instead, live life to it’s fullest. It’s ok to think of me from time to time remembering only the good times.
The Day Before I Died
Time is something most of us take for granted. Thanks for the time you spent with me. during my last moments here on earth. I didn’t realize how much you meant to me until.

Paranoid who me! Why should I be paranoid? After all, I am just a black man who goes to work and sees the “N” word scribbled on the wall. Why? Should I be paranoid The police stopped me because I was driving my car with my light skin son? The officer asked my son if I am his father? Why am I Paranoid?
Paranoid who me? Why? because an officer stops me and says the tint on my car is 1% to dark and says he has to give me a ticket unless I remove it immediately. Paranoid not me!
Why because I chose to drive my car through a drug neighborhood on way home. I am not paranoid why? because The police officer Stopped me while on my way to get my new car at the dealership. No, I am not paranoid about these things that happen to people like me every day.

I remember those days and nights in ” Alphabet City and hanging out in the East Villiage near Canal street
” Sin City ” during the 80’s !

A scary taboo time because nobody knew how they contracted it, people wanted to blame the Gays then it was the Haitians wow a scary time!
It was worst than Hippie Days in Studio 54 and The Garage the happening clubs! I thank Allah for sparing me and giving me the mindset not to be Wilding !

The love of your family is the most important thing no matter what color you are.

Two people killed and the third was on trial for murder. Why did so many people scream with joy when they found him innocent. Some would say that money can buy you freedom. Others would say the justice system finally worked for a black man. Many would say he was innocent. They also said that the evidence was circumstantial. His lawyers said that the jury came back with the only possible verdict.
People were upset were about the verdict. Many Black people know of someone doing time for something they didn’t do.
Blacks are often thought of as supermen and women. Often we hear people saying that’s ok I will do this or that for you. Thinking we’re incapable of making judgment calls. These beliefs are false and yes we are equal to everyone else.

A barbecue gives a family the opportunity to explain why God give you the hair He loves.
The use of the “N” I remember hearing often as a child. The kids in the neighborhood use the “N” word to refer to me whenever we disagreed. They knew that calling me the “N” word would invoke rage in me. I remember swelling up with anger and being hurt, always preparing to fight.
Today things have changed. The “N” word has become common amongst our young people. When I was growing up the “N” word was used to describe black people. Now many times its used as a term of endearment.
Please stop calling each other the “N” word your hurting our parents and grandparents. When you use the “N” word you shatter and destroy relationships that have taken many years to build.
African American has been called the “N” word during slavery. Our people both black and white have worked hard to change the attitudes of many. Realize our struggle by thinking hard before you call someone the “N” word.
My hope is to encourage you to stop calling each other the “N” word. Racism is deadly and useless we must leave it behind and make America a better place to live.
